Wolseley Winery looking good
This owner-built winery building is nearing completion of the main structure.

Insulation is being applied to both sides of the steel frame and in two separate layers under the roof. Temperature stability is key for a building of this nature.

The next stages of construction will include the massive sliding doors which enclose a courtyard between this building and the original adjacent winery building. The courtyard links both buildings and opens up to the lake beyond. Apart from accommodating the winery`s working needs, the courtyard will also be used for food and musical events during 2009.

In addition the courtyard roof will form the structural base for the centrally located wind generator and will become a feature of this cluster of buildings.

Feel free to visit the winery any weekend and sample some very special Pinots, Cab Sav, Shiraz Chardonnay and the rare sticky.
Cellar door open 10.00am to 5.00pm Sat and Sun. 1790 Hendy Main Rd. Paraparap. (between Bellbrae and Torquay off the Surf Coast Highway. Just follow the brown winery tourist signs.)
