New curved structure for Geelong Football Club
The famous Cats football team of Geelong is soon to receive a new storage facility and temporary bar.
The design by architect Geoff Fulton incorporates exposed steel in the unusual construction. The walls project outwards and the roof incorporates a large curved webbed truss.
The span of the truss is over 20 metres, however as it is constructed of light-weight high-tensile steel as designed and manufactured by Technosteel, weight is not a problem.
This truss can easily be lifted by three men!
Roller doors provide easy access and large tilt windows allow ventilation during the warmer months.
