Owner Builder builds Innovative light-weight house at Rutherglen
We love it when owner buiders push the design boundaries on their homes and produce an original and interesting building.
In this case the owner builders have excelled themselves and drawn on the best features of light weight steel and pre fabrication, to achieve a fairly complex structure economically.
At the end of the day, almost any design can be affordably achieved once its broken down into step by step logic. Pre fabrication is the great hidden benefit, where the accuracy of the components is controlled in our factory. However nothing beats the planning and diligence of a good owner builder.
